A dry, bright cool day at Auchinstarry Quarry today looking at rigging, rope work, group management and some more personal climbing. Great to see Karen, Bles and Des with a St. Aly's party there to show us how its done for real too!
Out with the enthusiastic ACOLs from West Highland College again today. They brought the enthusiasm and despite the weather we made a good day of it up Scimitar Ridge in Glen Nevis and then having a wee climb and abseil session. Nice as always to be working with Mike, Scott and Claire.
Sunshine, swimming, sunshine, road biking, sunshine, Sandy clipping his first bolt, sunshine taking Graeme and Sally up Gubia Normal and more sunshine and scrambling with the family. What's not to like?
I was out with 2 of the ACOL Students from West Highland College today looking at some basic hillwalking skills. The weather was fine as we visited An Steall Ban and made a circuit of Meall Cumhann looking at plant life, geology, navigation strategies and having a little fun aroun the falls and on the wire bridge. Great Autumn weather.
…Now I'm off on holiday to Mallorca… for 2 whole weeks! :-)
