Last day of Lead Climbing Course

For our final day we headed to the Mess of Pottage for a last route for Dil and Isi. There had been a fair amount of fresh snow overnight but climbing conditions were still good and our crag wasn't too busy. I led the Direct Start to Hidden Chimney and then Dil led out the top pitch. So he has managed his first Grade III mixed and ice leads this week- good job Dil!
We topped out to a stunning display of mist and light- so good that we stayed up in the sun and blue sky as long as we could. A great end to another week working at Glenmore Lodge.
