Friday

Spent the morning going over some problem solving ropework with Neil before his MIA assessment later this summer. We looked at some simple solutions to dealing with an exhausted climber or a partner unable to cope with a short hard move and moved onto more complext scenarios involving injured partners - getting to them and evacuating them from the crag. If youm are interested in a rescue or ropework course take a look at http://www.climbwhenyoureready.com/RescueandRopework.html I can run these courses for you anywhere in scotland or based in Keswick in The Lake District.
In the afternoon I was heading for Ardroy Outdoor Centre to start an SPA Training Course. It was such a nice day I hopped off the bus at the Reat and Be Thankful pass and admired the views as I walked the 10km down to the centre to do some evening training at their climbing wall and in the classroom.
