Mild and wild in the Cairngorms

Day 1 of a course for Glenmore Lodge and it was mild and wild. We went up the Meall a Buachaille today which was a good lesson for my group in personal organisation in strong winds. Looking into the Coires we could see plumes of snow stretching from the crest of each of the ridges on the strong westerlies. More wind tomorrow... for a change...
 Prep
Blasted by pellets of white stuff
The only shelter on the hill
 The surface of the moon
Blurred vision? Snow on the move
