In the oven on Curved ridge

A VERY sociable day on Buachaille Etive Mor today with great chat with some orienteers from Edinburgh, Virginia and her family (great  to see the kids enjoying the mountains) and a team from Durham Uni amongst others. There was a team exiting a route on Rannoch Wall as we started Curved Ridge but otherwise no climbers (!). We did spot a team heading for Shibboleth and there were plenty of folks on North Buttress too. I was out with Andy and Julie today and for their first time scrambling at this grade they made short work of the Ridge so we went right at the top climbing Crowberry Tower from the crest of Crowberry Ridge before abseiling off. The summit was the hottest I've been on the Buachaille, like an oven! More fun with this pair of mountaineers tomorrow! Cheers to Connor at Atlas Mountaineering for the work.
