Father and son intro. rock
Grant and son Mike (12) came out with me today. We started in 3 Wise Monkeys looking at converting their existing sport climbing knowledge into multi-pitch rope work for their upcoming Spain trip and then made sure they were happy with how to retreat from a stance or part way up a pitch. Then we braved Polldubh (a wee shower and the midges again only got serious at the end of the day) and the guys were introduced to 'proper' climbing (Trad) with Pinnacle Ridge in 3 pitches and the first pitch of 3 Pines. Not bad for a rainy day!!
