Indoors in Lochaber

I was lucky enough last night to see an early cut of Dave and Clare Macleod's film about Dave's recent ascent of Echo Wall on ben Nevis. They had a group of people round to alan Kimber's bunkhouse to see a rough cut and it was great. For a first film they've done a top job and I recommend tracking down a copy when its released if you want to see what the commitment involved in headpointing a worldclass cutting edge route is like. See Dave's blog for more the climb.
A bit less adrenaline today as this morning I was giving a talk on 'Opportunities in the Outdoor Industry in Lochaber' to students on the Adventure Tourism degree Course; offering them some tips from my perspective on follwing a career as an instructor in the outdoors. Ice Factor tomorrow, Ben Nevis Friday, MCofS AGM on Saturday and 2 days guiding rock climbs after that!
