And me... just mixed up!

Well we went to give it a try for the last day of our Glenmore Lodge Learn to Lead in winter course but it wasn't looking good. The thaw had continued overnight and as we entered Coire an t Sneachda the gusts were knocking us about. A stiff rain squall sealed the decision for us and after a quick look at placing and removing turf protection and pegs we beat a retreat back to the Lodge. Here we had a look at the excellent Avalanche Spot Checks quiz before moving onto the towers for a little mixed climbing to end the week.

Fiona and Charlotte have done well and can leave the course happy to go off and start their own winter leading careers!
