Inside today

High on a ledge
Knitting for experts
In and out
and hanging out
A rare sighting of the white stuff
The Glenmore Lodge Lead climbing course had a gentler day today at The Ice Factor. We were happy to relax a little after our good day on Ben Nevis yesterday and a great night at Inchree Hostel. Fiona, Charlotte and I reviewed the contents of a winter rack and some ropework in the morning (retreating from a route and simple problem solving for a partner having difficulties) before we went into the ice wall.
In the big fridge we looked at some movement skills on steep ice, finding a good position to place screws from, creating a v thread and plenty of climbing.
On the way back east the high point of the Laggan road looked properly wintery and the new snow had come down to the level of the Lodge.
