Students on the sharp end

Out with the MCofS winter climbing meet to day and my pair went through their options and the weather and avalanche forecast and decided they would get most out of the Ciste Crag. We climbed 6 pitches 2 with me leading and 4 with the students on the sharp end- nice work guys.
Great to be helping clear up some questions and help keen climbers get their heads round some good practise.
Weather was a little soggy but still plenty of snow and lots of opportunities for gear once you've established which are the solid bits of rock! Bit windier and snowier later in the day though.
Coming up
 'Climb when you're ready!'

 Leading
 Gear
 Still smiling
 Snow on the horizon
 A wee shower
