MCofS, exped planning, white stuff

Had a grand weekend at the MCofS Student seminar as a volunteer Instructor at Glenmore Lodge. I helped a group of students draw some lessons out from the Adventure show film of the Leeds University incident in the Cairngorms last year, took a party to Kingussie Crag to look at some simple problems that they might find themselves up against as climbers and spent sunny, if cold, day on dry rock teaching the essentials of Trad climbing at Duntelchaig. Very cosmopolitan it was too working with students fromGermany, Poland, France and Scotland. Great social with students and fellow volunteers!
Today I was helping a team plan for a 3 day walking exped I'll be leading at the end of the week and helping them get to grips with Registering and prepping for their CWA Training in the future. We were all treated to occasional views out of the window of plenty of white stuff on Ben Nevis, Carn Mor Dearg and Stob Ban.
