Final hill day for the MIC Candidates on Assessment at Glenmore Lodge this week and it was a complete contrast to yesterday's first teaching day. The teams all heading in to a very mild and still Coire an t Sneachda for day 2 with the mock students. There has been a loss of snow and certainly where we were in Central Gully what looked like ice had entered what I called the 'fourth state' (not a gas, certainly not a solid and not quite liquid... but close). All is not lost though the ground was still frozen in many places and the cold WILL return.
Well done and thanks to all of the mock students who make this assessment experience possible for the candidates.
